Opus offers private piano lessons for students of all ages and abilities from beginners to very advanced students.

We start piano lessons at any age from age 6 onward. Our research and experience has shown us that most students are ready for more focused private piano lessons by age 8 but not most of them are ready at age 6 due to coordination and maturity level.

Our private piano lessons are one-on-one instruction and lesson lengths are 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour. For our advanced piano students we have teachers with master’s degrees in piano who can prepare them for college or university entrance.

We offer most styles of piano lessons from classical, jazz and contemporary pop. We have students who want to play just for fun and students who wish to excel with the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum. Our Arts Administrators are able to match students with a teacher that works best for their particular age, ability and interest. If you are not sure which teacher would be the best match for your child, call us!

Q: What should I do if my child wants piano and they are younger than 8?
A: We have two popular programs for children under 8 that has piano included in the curriculum.
Superstars: ages 5 1/2 to 7 – Piano Team (groups): ages 6 to 8

Tuition Rates:
$160/monthly 30 minute lesson once per week ($40 per lesson)
$240/monthly (most popular) 45 minute lesson once per week ($60 per lesson, sign up for a 30 min spot)
$320/monthly 60 minute lesson once per week ($80 per lesson – sign up for two consecutive, 30 min spots)
