Opus offers private piano lessons for students of all ages and abilities from beginners to advanced students.

We start piano lessons from age 6 onward. Our research and experience has shown us that most students are ready for more focused private piano lessons by age 8 but not many of them are ready at age 6 due to coordination and maturity level.

Our private piano lessons are one-on-one instruction with lesson lengths of 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour. *If you wish to register for a 45-minute or 60-minute spot, simply register for a 30-minute spot that has another opening afterward then call our friendly front desk staff to inform them of your intention.

We offer most styles of piano lessons from classical, jazz, contemporary, and pop. We have students who want to play just for fun and those who wish to excel with a college preparatory path. Our Arts Administrators are able to match students with a teacher that works best for their particular age, ability and interest. If you are not sure which teacher would be the best match for your child, call us!

Q: What should I do if I want my child to take private piano and they are 6 or younger?
A: We have two popular programs for children under 8 that have pre-piano focus included in the curriculum that we recommend before enrolling in private lessons. These classes are designed for the younger age and will prepare them for the more focused skills needed for one-on-one lessons.

1. Superstars: ages 5-7
2. Piano Team: ages 6-8

Tuition Rates:

$160/monthly 30 minute lesson once per week ($40 per lesson)
$240/monthly (most popular) 45 minute lesson once per week ($60 per lesson, sign up for a 30 min spot)
$320/monthly 60 minute lesson once per week ($80 per lesson – sign up for two consecutive, 30 min spots)
