Get ready to grow your wings!

This camp introduces the basics of ballet, jazz, and theater dance in a creative, immersive way. Students will act and dance as explorers, adventurers, artists, waterfalls, fireflies, rivers, fairies, and more! They will go on a new “adventure” to a different world every day. The week culminates in a brief in-studio demonstration performance.

Dress Code: leotard or fitted top, tights/leggings/athletic pants, ballet skirt optional, ballet shoes

Magical Themes (Clay “Flying pig”, Watercolor “Totoro”, Watercolor “Fairy”, Oil Pastel “Dragon”, Clay “Gnome”)

Each camp, students will learn about the fundamentals of art, including Line, Color, Shape, Form, Pattern and Texture. Students will work with clay, watercolors, drawing, collage, and oil pastels! A unique part of this program is the teaching of Master Artists. Students will learn about well-known famous artists such as Picasso and Georgia O’Keeffe, as well as many lessor known artists such as Hundertwasser and Emily Carr.

Dress Code: wear clothes that are ok to get paint on them.

Barbie (ages 6-8)

Hey, Barbie!

Each day of the week contains an adventure based on the animated Barbie movies of the 2000’s, such as riding magical pegasi like Barbie and the ‘Magic of the Pegasus’ or skating with her polar bear. The week culminates in a brief in-studio demonstration performance.

The galaxy depends on us!

Embark on a heroic journey at our Superhero Adventures camp, where young dancers save the galaxy through dance, creativity, and teamwork. Campers will develop their own unique superhero identities, craft costumes, and learn dance routines that use their superpowers to help save the world. Our week of adventure culminates in a dynamic in-studio demonstration, showcasing the courage and imagination of our young heroes.

I can do that!

Do you love to sing, dance, or act? How about all three? In the theater world, the term ‘triple threat’ means that you can do it all. This camp is a great place to start becoming a well-rounded performer while putting together a short musical theater piece to present in the studio at the end of the week. Breaks are included. Please bring nut-free snacks and a water bottle from home.

The world awaits your masterpiece!

Writing anything can be intimidating! How do you even start? There are tons of ways to create a story. Together, we are going to learn techniques to build and create a show. By the end of this process, we’ll be ready to put on a production on the last day of camp! Don’t worry about memorizing lines, we can bring scripts onstage if we’d like. This camp is all about creativity and collaborative thinking! A lunch break is included. Please bring a nut-free snack/lunch and a water bottle from home.

Audition Preparation (ages 13+)

I really need this job!

Have you ever wanted to audition for a play or musical? In theater, an audition is your chance to make a great first impression. This camp helps actors and singers develop the knowledge, skills, and techniques needed to present a quality musical theater audition. Each student receives coaching from our experienced instructors on audition material, vocal technique, acting choices in a song, monologues, what to wear to an audition, writing a performer’s resumé, headshots, and more. There is no dance instruction in this camp. The week culminates in an in-studio demonstration performance.
